Lyceum Village campers have so much fun exploring a wide variety of new activities, allowing them to develop a curiosity and passion for learning. All camps include a daily Genius Club challenge to encourage friendship, leadership, and teamwork. *Classes are subject to change. Please check often or call for more information.

    Athletics: Sparks Skills (6+ years)
    Description: Two 90-minute blocks of intensive Sparks girls’ basketball training, with 35-minute group activity with all campers presented through the K8 Genius Club.
    Bring 2 balls and a water bottle. Basketball shoes required. All participants will receive a uniform and certificate.

    Music: Junior Chamber Music (pre-formed ensembles only)
    Description: Are you already missing your Junior Chamber Music friends? There’s so much more you can do! Performances and competitions require practice and preparation, and this weeklong camp provides just that. Coaching, masterclass, group performances. Enrollment limited to the first 4 groups.
    Bring instruments and music, stands provided.

    Music: Young Impressions (ages 6-9)
    Description: Summer is a great time to learn music for the first time. Select either violin or piano group lessons during Block 1. Then, bring together these new musicians and learn how to sing, with group voice lessons during Block 3. Songs compliment the afternoon session, “Theater for Beginners” where you can practice singing catchy tunes from the original musical “It’s A Jungle Out There!”
    Violins are provided if campers do not have one.

    Description: Campers who love science will absolutely enjoy the Bionerds and TinkerKamp classes. During Block 1, campers will participate in a hands-on biology workshop. Block 3 will keep the science-loving campers engaged as they learn to tinker with robotics using Dash & Dots.
    All materials required for Bionerds and TinkerKamp are provided.

    Theatre for Beginners (1 of 2) 3rd-8th/Pairs with Block 4 Costuming
    Description: Introducing kids to the exciting world of musical theater, this 2-week camp is a perfect start where campers will learn how to tell their story through song and dance. During Block 1, Campers will gain stage confidence as they practice with imaginative theater games and rehearse “It’s A Jungle Out There!” The last day of this 2-week camp offers parents and friends an opportunity to see the awesome results of their work. Block 3 pairs with this camp through art in “Theater Art” where campers use their creativity and artistic skills making props and costumes.

    Academics: Rubik’s Cube Nationals: Practice with the Pros
    Description: Cubing Nationals USA competition is right around the corner in Salt Lake City on July 27-29. If you are competing, or would like to be fast enough to compete in the future, this camp is for you! During Block 1, take turns practicing on official competition timers, and spar with friends. Block 2 offers inspiring world-class podium cubers who will provide a demonstration masterclass on select days of camp. Mini competition with prizes on the last day of camp.

    Description: Cubing Nationals USA competition is right around the corner in Salt Lake City on July 27-29. If you are competing, or would like to be fast enough to compete in the future, this camp is for you! During Block 1, take turns practicing on official competition timers, and spar with friends. Block 2 offers inspiring world-class podium cubers who will provide a demonstration masterclass on select days of camp. Mini competition with prizes on the last day of camp.

    Description: Can’t get enough of Musical Theater? Theater for Beginners is a primer for this exciting camp. Campers have an additional week during this 3-week camp, learn basic choreography and lyrics of popular, age appropriate songs. During Block 1, campers will gain stage confidence as they practice with imaginative theater games and rehearse their musical. The last day of this offers a finale performance for parents and friends. Block 3 pairs with this camp through art in “Theater Art” where campers use their creativity and artistic skills making props and costumes.
